Cali Poetik is a spoken word artist, writer, and community minister whose work lives at the intersection of spirituality, creativity, and lived experience. Born and raised in Los Angeles and now based in St. Petersburg, Florida, her voice is shaped by story, justice work, and the sacredness of everyday life.

Her ministry and creative practice are rooted in presence and relationship rather than doctrine. She designs and leads worship that is reflective, embodied, and accessible, including multigenerational services, spoken-word-centered worship, contemplative services, justice-focused gatherings, and ritual experiences that draw from poetry, silence, music, and storytelling. She is especially drawn to worship that invites people to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with meaning beyond performance or certainty.

In addition to ministry and writing, Cali brings a background in performance and acting to her work. She has experience with stage presence, character embodiment, voice work, and both scripted and improvised storytelling. These skills inform how she holds space, communicates across difference, and engages audiences with authenticity and emotional intelligence. Whether preaching, performing, or facilitating, she understands how tone, pacing, and body language shape shared experience.

Her work also includes teaching, facilitation, and collaborative projects that blend spirituality, art, and social awareness. She holds a Master’s degree in Divinity, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May 2026, with study in world religions and theology, along with a Certificate in Psychedelic Justice and Social Companioning. She is also studying American Sign Language as part of her commitment to accessibility and inclusive communication.

Across all of her work, Cali’s intention is to create spaces where people feel seen, grounded, and invited into deeper connection with themselves and one another.
