Guest Speaker- Worship Service
The Practice of Attention
In a world that constantly pulls us in every direction, attention becomes a sacred act. This worship service, inspired by the Soul Matters theme of Attention, invites us to reflect on where we place our focus and how that focus shapes our values, relationships, and sense of meaning. Together, we explore attention as a spiritual practice, an ethical choice, and a quiet form of care in a distracted world.

Guest Speaker - Double Worship Service
Resilience is often mistaken for endurance alone. Yet the courage to remain is something deeper. It is the decision to stay present in our bodies, in our communities, and in the truth of who we are when the world feels uncertain. Through poetry and reflection, this service explores how naming our stories becomes an act of strength, how presence becomes resistance, and how taking one more faithful step together becomes a sacred practice.

Guest Speaker - Worship Service
Guest speaker Jeanay Johnson explores resistance as a lived spiritual discipline rooted in courage, belonging, and collective care. Drawing inspiration from the life of Fannie Barrier Williams, this service reflects on how justice is practiced not only through protest, but through building, persisting, and refusing to give up on one another. Resistance, in this tradition, becomes a faithful commitment to shaping a more just and inclusive world, step by step.
